Safesite Vacuum Interstitial Monitoring System

0.1 gph / System uses vacuum generated by a vacuum pump or submersible pump to continuously maintain a partial vacuum of 7.5 psig, equivalent to 207.6” water column for a period of 60 minutes, and maintain vacuum for 30 seconds prior to testing. System is designed to activate a visual and acoustic alarm, and optional submersible pump shutdown before stored product can escape to the environment. System was evaluated for detecting breaches within the interstitial space effective gap of 3/64” or greater of a double-walled tank or double-walled piping. / 270 gallons or 5,690 feet of piping.

Preferred Utilities Interstitial Vacuum Leak Monitoring System System uses vacuum generated by a vacuum pump to continuously maintain and monitor up to 4 zones. The console also has a “learn” function that is used during setup to determine the time to establish the vacuum on the interstice to a specific level. The time to establish the vacuum during the learn process is stored by the console and is used to determine if there is a liquid or air leak whenever the vacuum needs to be re-established at any time.
System also has a float valve that is designed to detect the presence of liquid between the interstice and the vacuum pump.
Volume of monitored interstitial space must not exceed 2,400 gallons to satisfy 30-day release detection requirement.

Overpressure Leak Detection System Model DLR-G

Not determined / System uses pressurized nitrogen gas to continuously maintain an overpressure within the interstitial space of double-walled piping.  System is designed to activate a visual and acoustic alarm before stored product can escape to the environment.  System is capable of detecting breaches in both the inner and outer walls of double-walled piping. / Not applicable

Veeder-Root Secondary Containment Leak Detection (SCLD) TLS-450Plus and TLS-350/ProMax/EMC Console with Vacuum Sensors 857280-100, 200, 30x, or Assembly 332175-001 Not Determined/System uses vacuum generated by the turbine pump to continuously maintain a partial vacuum within the interstitial space of double-walled tanks and double-walled piping. System is designed to activate a visual and acoustic alarm, and optional turbine pump shutdown before stored product can escape to the environment. System is capable of detecting breaches in both the inner and outer walls of double-walled tanks and double-walled piping./ Not applicable
